STANDARD ADMISSION

You will be greeted at the reception counter, issued with a map and are then able to freedom walk around the Reserve. Our 2 pm eel feeding talk is included.

FREE ADMISSION for preschoolers

FREE ADMISSION for individuals with disabilities who are dependent on an attendant carer. Their carer is also free of charge.  

Friends of Ngā Manu Membership – Enjoy unlimited visits for 12 months and gain half-price entry (off Standard Admission) for up to 5 guests.

Eel Feeding

INDIVIDUAL EEL FEEDING

Experience the pull of an eel on that meaty morsel. You can hire a feeding pole and strip of meat and feed the eels at 2 pm under the guidance of an experienced eel feeder. A close encounters experience.

Cost: $1.00 per meat strip on feeding pole.
Time: 2 pm daily eel feed or by group arrangement.

Feed the Ducks

Cost$2.00 per bag of duck food.

Duck Feeding

BBQ Hire

Cost: $5.00 plus 50 cents per head. Hire BBQ Island for your group

BBQ Students

Ranger for the Day Experience

Cost: $75.00 per person (suitable for adults and children aged 7 years+. If the child or adult doing the experience is not independent or has special needs you may be required to provide an adult carer).
Duration: 9 am to 3 pm.
Limit: Maximum 2 people per day. Bookings are required.
